Overview

Huntress Alena MacLeod is given a mission: work undercover to discover a rogue vampire’s secretive work, then terminate him.

Ephraim MacNeill, aka Sutton Bastrop, knows Alena is his Elizabeth MacLeod from an earlier time, and he’s determined to return to the past and right all the wrongs to end the curse placed on the love of his life before it’s too late—again.

Together, they must risk all to stop a war between a newly formed Brotherhood of rogue vampires, tired of the status quo, and the League of Hunters, who have ruled for centuries over the vampires—both changed during the Black Death—some of the survivors becoming vampires, and others hunters of the same.

    Starsky's Story chapter five

All of the cats looked in the direction of the spreading flames. Soon, fire engulfed the camp. Sunsoul and Starkit tried to run out, but a wall of fire popped up in front of them. Rockpaw was unconsous and weighed them down. Starkit leaped over the wall and Sunsoul threw Rockpaw after her. Then she jumped over. They followed the fleeing cats to another Clan's camp. They stayed there for a few days and Rockpaw was healed. Rockpaw's Clan, HorseClan, went back to their territory and found a clearing not in ruins. Sunsoul and Starkit went back to being rouges. They ocassionaly discussed joining a Clan. Specificly HorseClan. Eventally they came to a descision. They found the edge of the territory and crossed over. Once they found the camp, they hesitated. Sunsoul stepped in first and Starkit followed. Sunsoul came up to a nearby cat. "Can we please talk to your leader?" Sunsoul asked. The cat led them to the leader's den. They entered and found the leader laying in his nest. "Hello," Said Sunsoul. "Im Sunsoul and this is Starkit. You must be Bravestar. I want to ask you if we can join the Clan." "You may join," said Bravestar. "How old is the kit?" He asked. "Im five moons," mewed Starkit. So now they were part of the Clan. Sunsoul had found a mate, Nightstrike, but he had been killed by a badger. One day, a cat named Lynx came in the camp with her three kits, Spiritkit, Dreamkit, and Stormkit. That was the begining of a huge adventure in Starkit's life.

Must Read! Love me a Highland Hottie!

This is a must read! It is a romance and paranormal all wrapped up in one. There is nothing like imaging a muscular Scottish man in a kilt fighting to be with the woman he loves! Ah... the accent. Only problem her family doesn't want them together. What happens when the love of your life is unaware of you? The past images come to her like a dream. You have been searching for her over the centuries to break the curse that has kept you both apart. A very enjoyable read, kept me wanting to keep reading!
