I loved this, just wish it was a full length novel...can't wait for the next one to come out...this is one of my favorite series and i think the publisher made a mistake not continuing with this series.

I love the book ,but I wish it was longer and it left the readers hanging not knowing what's going to happen to Ram and the Angel.

Wow, how does one try to put into words enough emotion to describe the rollercoaster ride that is Forbidden Magic?
First, there is Ram Virtos, and just saying his name I get goose bumps! This is one Alpha Male who is always in control and dominant in all things. His bloodlust is riding him hard, his Phoenix is awakening causing all sorts of problems for him, and his soul mirror has turned tail and run from him. Ram knows that if he doesn’t find his soul mirror, he will succumb to the bloodlust and go up in flames. Talk about a bad day, he has it in spades. But…those are not his only issues. Ram really doesn’t want his soul mirror at all; he wants Ginny Stone, younger sister to the newest Wing Slayer Hunter, Eli. Ram is continuously fighting his attraction to her because he feels that she deserves better than him. He believes he is too old, too damaged, and has done too many dark things to his soul to be worthy of her.
Then we have Ginny. She has wanted Ram from the first time they met and alternately flips between seducing him to her bed and keeping him at a distance. Her reasons for this have to do with the fact that she is a Halfling and her father is a very powerful being. She has to complete a series of tasks that he has set for her, and has done all but the final two, the emotions of love and heartbreak. Ginny knows that even if she and Ram were to be together (love), he could never truly be hers because he had already found his soul mirror (heartbreak); the final tasks completed, she would be pulled from this world. Now, Ginny’s day turns really bad because if she doesn’t do what her father says, he will rip her brother Eli’s soul from him. Rock and a hard place anyone?
How Ram and Ginny come together is such an emotionally charged journey, one that will leave you at the edge of your seat and breathless. I have to say that I didn’t even realize I had gotten to the end and when I turned the page, expecting more, well, there wasn’t. I sat there just looking at my Kindle screaming, “No way!” But fear not, this is only the beginning of their story and will, indeed, be continued!
Ms. Lyon has written an incredibly powerful story in this novella. Words such as sultry, steamy, sexy, nail biting twists and turns and cliff hanger make this a must read for all, and a great addition to the Wing Slayer books. Ram and Ginny’s story is compelling, and I for one, am so very grateful that Jennifer is continuing this series independently!

Witches, hunters and a curse! What more can you ask for? Fall under the spell of these exceptional men and the women who save them. Each volume adds a new dimension to the series. Follow Axel, Sutton, Phoenix, Ram and the rest of the Wing Slayer Hunters as they seek to break a thirty year old curse by finding the women (witches) who help them break the soul-destroying cycle. It's riveting and sexy and easy to become a fan of these over-the-top men and the witches they love.

I have read all the books in this series, and I have got to say that Jennifer Lyon is one of my favorite authors. While this novella leaves readers hanging, it is an excellent read. It also leaves the reader with an excerpt for the next book in the series, Cage Magic. I really loved this novella, and cannot wait for more by this author.

What do you do when the one person who can save you, runs from you? But the one person you want, the one that is always there, the one willing to do anything and everything for you just might be the only one to really save you?
This is the very problem the Ram finds himself in, in Forbidden Magic. His soul mirror witch, has deserted him, left him to deal with the curse and his demons on his own. Ram feels the pull to the one witch that can save him and his soul, but his heart has other plans. Ram’s heart belongs to someone he can never have.
Ginny knows that it is just a matter of time before she gives in to her father’s demands. But she is not in any hurry. Although being around Ram is very tempting for her to break her own rules. When Ginny’s father blackmails her and gives her no choice, by threatening the two men she cares about the most on this earth, her brother Eli and the man she is head over heels in love with Ram, Ginny finally realizes that her father has won.
Fate always seems to have a way of knowing what and who is best for you. But what happens when Fate is wrong? What happens when your heart won’t let fate win? What happens when you love the wrong person so much, it makes it is so very right?
If you want the answers to these questions you need to pick up a copy of Forbidden Magic. And see who wins, Love or Fate....
Huge thank you to Jennifer Lyon for allowing me to read Forbidden Magic early. And for totally sucking me back into the world of the Wing Slayer Hunters and reminding me of how very much I love this series. This novella took me on a wild, tortuous journey with Ram & Ginny and left me dying for more..

Awesome! This story is full of the passion and angst that Jennifer Lyon is known for. She puts me right in the story, understanding what the characters are going through. I am so excited that she is continuing the Wing Slayer Hunter series!! There is more of Ram and Ginny to come :) And Linc, is next, and he is my favorite!!!

A great Novella to a fantastic series. If you haven't read any of the Wing Slayer Hunter series, then this Novella is a great way to start - then go and read them all. Jennifer Lyon is an exceptional writer who brings it all to the page. I'm so glad that Jennifer has continued the series.

This series was really well written and Mrs. Lyons plans on still writing them but self publishing them. Please if you like this series continue to support her writing of them. It is a very unusual take on witches.

I was so glad Jennifer was able to continue this series. I loved it from the first book and the series just keeps getting better and better. Ram and Ginny have everything going against them and their story was breaking my heart. This enovella took me on emotional gut wrenching journey with Ram and Ginny. I am definately pulling for Ram and Ginny and I hope to read more about their story in the books to come. I highly recomment this series and I give it 5 stars. Another great one Jennifer and I can't wait for the next one!!

Jennifer Lyon has done it again! I for one am so glad Jennifer decided to continue this series independently after the publisher chose to not continue it! I LOVE all the Wing Slayers and this enovella is a delight to read! I couldn't stop reading once I started! As usual she has left me eager for my next Wing Slayer fix!

Fans of the series will not be disappointed. Ram doesn't want his soul mirror and she doesn't want him. Ram wants what is too dangerous to have....Ginny. Ram wants to protect Ginny and Ginny wants to save Ram. But Ram's soul mirror and Ginny's father stand in their way. How much are either of them willing to sacrifice to be together? And will it be enough?
