Force of Nature

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Steve Huey
Tank's first entry into the hip-hop soul sweepstakes, Force of Nature is dominated by soft, organic ballads and jittery future funk à la Sisqo or Timbaland. He tends to be more convincing on the romantic material than on the harder-hitting party cuts; the first single, "Maybe I Deserve," is a decent contemporary R&B love song, while the six-minute "Slowly" has a warm, vintage Prince feel that showcases Tank's crooning to best advantage. There doesn't seem to be much here that will truly separate Tank from the rest of an already crowded R&B pack, but Force of Nature is well-crafted enough for its Top Ten status to make sense.

Rolling Stone - Barry Walters
A former Ginuwine background singer, Tank wouldn't seem to be a serious artist of anything beyond barbells at first glance. Yet Force of Nature comes packed with more unexpected hooks than a round with Mike Tyson.

    Tank is the real deal.

When I first heard "Maybe I deserve", I was instantly hooked and had my mind set on getting the album. When I saw the video and how gorgeous he is, I had to get a poster too! But he's not all looks. He keeps it real. I was impressed that he wrote all the songs on his first album. He's is very talent.ed and not your typical male R&B singer I even got a chance to see him perform in my hometown. And he is definately a crowd pleaser and sounds even better live. The new album is wonderful. Great love songs and deep material. have much love and respect for his raw talent and predict that Tank will continue to 'roll on' with hit after hit.

I Love This CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(I LOVE YOU TANK)

THIS IS THE BEST CD. I HAVEN'T HEARD ANY FOUL LANGUAGE IN IT AT ALL. I LISTEN TO STREET LIFE NUMBER EIGHT ON HERE ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. SONG NUMBER SEVEN REMINDS ME OF MY MOTHER SOO MUCH. BECAUSE SHE'S THIRTY FIVE AND SHE HAS SEVEN KIDS. IM THE OLDEST. WHENEVER I PUT ON SONG NUMBER TWO I THINK OF ME AND TANK TOGETHER. HE'S SO FINE. THIS SONG GETS MORE THAN A FIVE I WOULD GIVE IT A TEN STAR IF I COULD. IT FEELS AS ID HE'S SINGING TO YOU PERSONALLY. PLEASE BUY THE CD. OR ELSE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSING. IM GIVING YOU GOOD ADVICE. THIS CD IS WORN OUT BY ME ALREADY. I HAVE'NT EVEN HAD IT FOR A YEAR YET.

    Supercalafragalisticexpealadous!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVED IT!! MY favorites are ''Maybe I Deserve & Slowy''. I could just put slowly on repeat all night long, well, actually I have;) His mama or sum-body taught him well. And he wrote all of his songs, he kinda reminds me of a more developed R Kelly. SMOOCHES

    Tank is dope.....

This album is fresh. I feel like I was a little behind the times with picking this up... All my friends were playing this over and over, and I was like ''Who is that?!?!?!'' It's Tank! Every song here is dope. It seems like this kid doesn't get as much play as other artists on MTV and BET, but he deserves it... ''Maybe I Deserve'' will hook you and when you cop the album you will be lovin' everything. Check it out..... really...
