Meet the Author

Susan Crosby started writing contemporary romances to entertain herself when her children were small. When they entered school, she returned to college and earned her B.A. in English, then began writing as a career, her longtime goal.

Having grown up at the beach in Southern California during the heyday of the Beach Boys, Susan still loves the feel of sand between her toes, early morning ocean swims, and that yellow polka dot bikini she wishes she could wear just one more time!

Susan has two grown sons, a terrific daughter-in-law and two perfect grandchildren.

    Julianne only wants to help!

Julianne Johnson has taken a temporary job at the Spirit Inn on the Promontory, one of the San Juan Islands off Washington coast. Her good friend Jamey Paladin (Desire #1659) the P.I. in SF CA has gotten her the job with his friend, the millionaire Zach Keller. The Spirit Inn is a castle but there are no guests and Zach doesn't even bother to meet her for several days so she doesn't know what to do but she gets noisy. Zach is very secretive and her noisiness creates a situation that Zach proposes marriage to keep them both save--a wife can't testify against her husband. Ms Crosby has written a great modern gothic and there so many twists and turns I better not say anymore.
