Overview

Marcie Thompson is a young, worrying lawyer who realizes her Fridays are quickly passing by. While golfing on Friday with her best friend,Greta,"Fore" is hollered across the fairway and a golf ball strikes Marcie in the face. Seconds later the Gruesome Twosome, Zach Armstrong and John Lonetree, drive up in their Green Bay Packer golf cart to retrieve Zach's illegally hit golf ball. And the women soon realize the men have broken nearly every PGA rule. The golf tees begin to break when Marcie decides a lawsuit is in order, and wouldn't that money benefit the maimed children of Sierra Leone? The story follows Marcie through her life of Fridays surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. All the while golf balls are flying on and off the course. It's a fun but rough round that explores faith in God, faith in others, and the struggles and rewards that come with living and dying.
