Leaves the reader trying to grasp complicated concepts with only a brief description of the subject matter. Compared to the book, far too short.
Hi. My name is Michael Maher. After reading Foreclosure Investing for Dummies, my wife and I purchased two properties using the exact step-by-step process outlined in this book. One home was county appraised at $205,000 and we purchased it for $147,800. After $12,000 in repairs, we still had over $40,000 in equity. On the second one, we got much smarter. We purchased another home that had appraised at $210,000 (in the #1 school district in the state) for $180,000. We paid no money out of our pocket and over $20,000 in repairs were financed which means we had a perfect house with $30,000 in equity and we didn't spend a single penny of our own money. Plus, with the loan money we finished the basement and added a bath increasing the value of the home. Thank you Ralph Roberts and thank you Foreclosure Investing for Dummies. I've read all the books and even been to seminars, but I guess I needed it written in Dummie language before I could make it happen. Michael
