About the Author

Elizabeth Kermgard graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2017. During medical school, she was the recipient of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine Summer Research Fellowship for her work in forensic pathology of child death. Dr. Kermgard then went on to complete her pediatric residency in 2020 at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and currently is a pediatric nephrology fellow at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
