    How Exciting!

    I just finished reading this book a few hours ago and am already anticipating books two and three! It was a quick, but exciting read that kept me interested from start to finish. The character descriptions, as well as the descriptions in general, painted a vivid picture in my mind and allowed me a glimpse into the authors imagination. I always felt as though I could see what she was seeing while writing the book.

    This is certainly a novel I would and could recommend to friends and family of all ages. The story line and plot are geared more towards twelve and older, but there is no questionable content above a PG like rating. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the characters grow and progress with one another while the twists in the plot were revealed! I recommend ordering this book or purchasing it from a store near you soon! Hopefully they don't wait too long to release Hindsight! I'm ready for it already!

    Foresight by Sherry D Ficklin Not just for the teens!!

    Sherry Ficklin has written a book that is surprisingly intriging! When I started reading this book I found I didn't want to put it down. I finished reading this book two weeks ago and the characters are still fresh in my mind as if they were someone I knew in my own life. She was able to bring you into the turmoil with her. Never have I known Greek mythogoly to be so interesting and exciting. Both my husband and myself have read Mrs. Ficklin's book and truly loved it. It is very well written and is a great read for any age. We are both over 60 and found it a wonderful book and would recommend it for anyone.

    Review of FORESIGHT, Book 1 of The Gods of Fate series

    FORESIGHT, Book I in the Gods of Fate Trilogy, by Sherry Ficklin is a refreshing new edition to the YA fantasy genre. Sherry handles the coming-of-age story of Grace Archer with humour, intelligence and a beautifully imagined mythology. Ms. Ficklin's voice is refreshing in its lack of brooding angst so often de rigueur in YA literature and instead captures the cockiness and frailty of Grace Archer as she steps over the threshold of childhood into adulthood. -- I applaud Ms. Ficklin for creating a modern Hero's Quest and casting a female in the lead role, one who relies on her own strength and intelligence instead of waiting for someone to rescue her. Feisty Grace battles evil, goes toe-to-toe with arrogant ancient gods, and struggles to come to terms with her growing magical powers, all the while falling in love with a most delicious faerie imagined. -- Foresight's appeal crosses all age groups and has enough nail-biting drama and heartbreak to have you turning the pages and wanting more.
