Meet the Author

I am an avid reader that loves my collection of books. Writing has always been a passion of mine and now I am glad that I get to share my passion with the world. I live in North Carolina and I absolutely love being a southern girl. I spent several years in college starting out with a major in Psychology and then switching to dental. I worked in the dental field for eight years and then decided to stay home with my two beautiful girls. I spent the beginning of my reading years reading suspense thrillers, but now I can't get away from the paranormal/fantasy books. I knew ever since then that if I wrote anything it would be in a paranormal aspect. Now that I have started on my passion and began writing, you will not see me go anywhere without a notebook and pen.

WOW! First, please pay attention to the warning. This is a very adult book. With that being said, this story had me on pins and needles waiting to see what would happen next. This book has it ALL: mystery, suspense, adventure, action, and romance. It is a nonstop rollercoaster ride of entertainment!

Calista is such a strong, awesome character and I really loved everything about it. Ryder is book BF worthy as the stud who ends up falling for her. Their chemistry is seriously some of the most swoon worthy material ever.

I am looking forward to the sequel, Betrayals of Spring (Feb 13th). I can’t wait to see how the story plays out

    Ehhh...

I was overall not impressed with this book. The story plot was okay but nothing more. What killed me was the simple diction and author's style. Being an author, I don't usually belittle style, but everything the character thought they said. It was annoyingly redundant. the character's never stayed "in character ". It seemed like everyone wanted to have sex with the protagonist, and when she finally did have sex, it was as if reading a 12 year old's version of coitus.
If you're looking for a quick read with romance and fantasy and don't mind dropping a few IQ points, I definitely recommend it.

    OK

The concept of the book is good however, the book felt rushed and I found myself skimming through most of the book.

Julie Kagawa step aside because L.P. Dover is here to give you competition. Her work is captivating and full of adventure. L.P. Dover is an amazingly talented writer. Forever Fae takes you on adventure like no other. I love the modern twist on fae's. The heat and passion between Calista and Ryder is INTENSE to say the least. There are different characters who each have their own personality and they are all unique in their own ways, you just can't help to love them all.

The Winter Court Prince is serious, protective and head over heals in lover with Calista.

Calista is the Summer Court Princess, one to bring change to the fae.

You have the best friend Xylia who likes to color her hair and is as quirky as all.

Merrick is hilarious always has some kind of smart ass comment but you're heart goes out to him, because he loves so deeply.

Meliantha, the sister who is always there, loves nature and has a kind heart.

To find out about these characters and more you must read Forever Fae, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this for those who love paranormal adult books.

WOW! What an AMAZING Ride, This Book BLOW ME AWAY!

Where should I start there's SO Many things I love about this book.

This book pretty much revolves around a Princess named Calista from Summer Court and a Prince named Ryder from Winter Court. They meet on Calista's becoming of age Ceremony where warriors battle to become her guardian. When they meet it's instant love at first sight. They were drawn together by forces of magic that senses they were meant to be together. But there happily ever after will have to wait because there's a dark Sorcerer lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect time to unleash his evil and take the Princess powers. He needs all 4 princess to have enough power to defeat the kingdoms and take over the lands. Starting with Calista is the beginning, but Calista is a fighter and she's not going down without a fight!

There's going to be 4 books, each one is about a different Princess. We have Calista and her 2 sisters and then Ryder's only sister. So in Forever Fae it's about the oldest and strongest Princess Calista and the Sorcerer trying to take her powers and her body for himself. The second book Betrayals of Spring will be out in a month, February 14th, on Valentines day what a special treat! That will be about the second oldest Princess Meliantha.

If you like magic and romance filled with evil and adventure then Forever Fae is your book!
OH! and there's a HOT and STEAMY love scene at the end of the book with VIVID DEATILS! I would read the book just for that Chapter LOL!

Trust me this is a must read and if you don't pick it up your really missing out because this book took me for and AMAZING ride and Book two is right around the corner. I give this book a 5 Star rating and would give more if I could but 5 the most. Go and check it out you won't be sorry! :-)

    Not horrible, but not great

The story was interesting, but the writing left something to be desired. The story is told from different character's points of view, but neither the writing style or the vocabulary seem to change between them. Though these are timeless faeries, they all use modern language and diction. The back story for the main characters is rushed and sometimes awkward. The plot itself was intetesting enough. This tale itself wasn't expressly bad, but all together it seemed out of place.

Wonderful story! A friend gifted me this and oh my goodness, am I glad she did! I was sucked into the world created by L.P. and soon got lost. Calista and Ryder are an amazing Prince and Princess, while the villain is perfectly created. Avery makes my bones chill with his creepiness.

I read this book in a little over 3 hours, staying up way past my bedtime. It was a book I couldn't put down! I'm anxious to read the next in the series.

Great book, highly recommend you read it NOW!

I THINK YOU SHOULD READ THIS INSTEAD

I think that the plot of this story is simillar to a book series by Julie Kagawa called the Iron King. So if you liked the plot but the story did not meet your expectations I would recommend reading this series. I read it and was completly enthralled from start to finish.

    Needs Work

I really wanted to like this book, but it was a struggle. There were a lot of things off about the writing. The use of modern day slang, bad language that didn't do anything to support the humor or storyline, and references to modern day books. For me it read as if a young person was writing their first attempt at a novel. I'm sorry for the harsh words, but I would hope the author would want feedback so that she can improve, because she definitely has creative writing talent, it just needs to be polished up a bit.
