Award-winning author, Sherrie Eldridge, is passionate about helping fellow adoptees discover their true identity and their unique life purpose.
She has authored seven books, including best-selling Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew.
Through her books and speaking, these personal beliefs are evident:
• "I am God's idea."
• "My life is not a mistake."
• "God determined who both my birth and adoptive parents would be."
• "I am God's jewel."
Eldridge founded Jewel Among Jewels Adoption Network, Inc., a non-profit, faith-based educational organization which offers resources to anyone touched by adoption--foster care and adoptive parents, birth parents, adoptees of all ages, social workers, mental health professionals, and university training programs.
Co-author, Cole Puckett, age 13, attends Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a creative young man and also one of Sherrie's grandsons. Thanks to Cole for making the story "kid friendly."
