Overview

Forever Grateful is a collection of 40 uplifting poems of faith in which Christine shares the inspirations of her heart from times of prayer or meditation on the love of God found through Christ, love that has sustained her through difficult life experiences. As the ink flowed through the pen, tears of gratitude sometimes flowed.

Some of her poems are written as poetic 'letters of love' from God. Each chapter begins with devotional thoughts and Biblical references accompany many of the poems.

If you have ever wanted to find words to express your heartfelt appreciation to the Lord or searched for uplifting words of comfort and love that point your soul above, Christine invites you to take a look through this her first book of poetry where she believes you'll find poems that may strike a chord.

Her purpose in writing this book is to help uplift and encourage readers through expressions of what the Lord means to her, in the hope that readers will also experience His precious comfort and love.

If any of the poems have been a blessing to you, please feel free to write to Christine either via her website: www.expressionspoetry.com, or email: christinemitchellpoetry@gmail.com

Meet the Author

Christine V Mitchell was born in London, England. When a young adult, her creativity blossomed through song-writing and musicianship skills. She came to faith in Christ in her teens, which caused her to embark upon a spiritual journey where she found inner peace, hope, strength and joy.

For a number of years, she has enjoyed writing and has increasingly been inspired with uplifting and inspirational poems of faith and everyday life. Her second book of poems "Comfort and Hope", soon to be published, contains even more uplifting poems of encouragement, which she prays will be an inspiration to many readers.

She is married to a loving husband (and Pastor) Frederick and they have a wonderful family of four (grown) children, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons.
