Forever Mine is a story of first love. It delves into all of the trials and tribulations that the young heart goes through at such a tender age. Sarah is a seventeen year old girl who finds herself in a new school after some unfortunate circumstances in her life. She meets Angel who is a dreamy but a bit over possessive boyfriend. They fall head over heals in love but soon learn that sometimes it takes a little more to make a relationship last, like trust and honesty.
I have to say that I loved this book. It was written with such description and emotion that I felt as if I were in the story and falling in love for the first time all over again. I felt that the writer portrayed an accurate depiction of a whirlwind high school romance. All of the characters that are introduced are dynamic and easy to fall in love with. Forever Mine was heated and exciting. I literally could not got to sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about this book. The best part, No werewolves or vampires anywhere! Finally an awesome book about real people with real circumstances.

This book was absolutely awesome. It's the first in a series and if you like alpha males (and who doesn't?), you will love this book. Alex cares about Sarah and will do anything to keep her happy and make sure she knows how much he loves her. Sarah is a very likeable and sweet character and the situation with her mom made me like her even more. She could have felt sorry for herself, or kept the truth about her mom from Alex, but she trusted him enough to tell him and he said all the things you'd want to hear from your boyfriend in just such a situation. This book is a realistic look at teen life, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great YA series. A fantastic debut!

A touching story, filled with memorable characters. I could not stop reading it--the characters were so compelling.
Angel and Sarah are young (18) but are dealing with the same feelings of love and betrayal that we all experience. There story is full of angst, yet mature.
Well worth the purchase. Have already purchased the next two in the series. Thank you Ms. Reyes!

Forever Mine offers an intense and slightly possessive love story that romance fanatics will love. The story begins will Sarah's life crumbling around her. As her mother is carted off to prison; she is forced to leave everything and everyone that she knows. Everyone includes her best friend Syndey. With every intention of returning Sarah succumbs moving in with her cousin and starting a new school. Everyday carries a sole purpose of attending school and making enough money to return; or that is until she meets Angel Moreno. Angel is an awesome character, but yet extremely protective and mildly possessive. It is nothing like abuse or controlling, but touchy about whom Sarah interacts with that is of the male persuasion. Although, these qualities are quite fitting for Sarah character; changing the readers impressions of these action to something more attractive. Sarah life has had very little consistency, other than that of her best friend, and she welcomes someone that always watches out for her. As the romance increases Sarah is conflicted, because Angel is very forthcoming with this protectiveness making it clear that he would be less than comfortable with the knowledge that Sydney just happens to be a guy. After many occasions where Angel verbalizes his opinions that guys and girls "can't be just friends", she is thrown into a gulley of lies to protect her friendship and her growing love for Angel. Reyes offers a bitter sweet romance that will keep readers hanging on every page. Be aware that this novel should be directed more toward the mature YA audience due to its sexual content. The story will carries a extremely fast pace, and with its addictive story readers will find themselves flying through the pages. Reyes talented writing promises for excellent read, and will leave readers craving more. The next book in this series Forever Yours takes Angels brother through yet another mouth watering romance. I look forward to reading the remainder of this series. Be ready for a powerful story and the promise of love that will stand the test of time.

I so hate nook. Ive tried writing this review too many times. I'd rather review a book on the kindle, its way better. This book is really good. Angel is who he is. Some women might find that appealing in a man, the possessiveness and the jealousy. Sarah likes it and fall in love with him that way. They have their drama, the misunderstanding and good times. I highly recommend the book.
Sarah falls for Angel once she meets him, though she never wants to tell him she's in love with him because she's moving back when she turns eighteen. She's going to move back with her best friend Syd to wait for her mom to get out of jail. Angel plans on still seeing Sarah after she goes back home. He just has no clue that Syd is a guy. He thinks Sarah's best friend is a girl. Once he finds out, he breaks things off with Sarah. He thinks Sarah is in love with Syd and has been in lying to him. Angels jealousy is almost scary and over the top.
They're are topic as jealousy, possessiveness and rumors of a teacher who is a creep and molester. It's a really good book that's written really well.

I just want to say that for me the lengthier the better!
I loved the overall plot, how intense first love can be, and of course the gorgeous Moreno brothers!
Downside to me was how fast the got together, no preservations? And how Angel used to basically smother her with caresses and kisses ALOT, though it fit his personality. But really, it was more of an after-thought, not a nagging thing.
Looking forward to Always Been Mine, aka ABM, loved how quirky ALex was in FM!
Can't wait!!!

This is without a doubt on my top 10 fav books list, and ive read ALOT of books. Forever Mine is the first book in the Moreno Brothers series. So far there are 5 books in the series (Forever Mine, Always Been Mine, Sweet Sofie, Romero, and Making You Mine) and they are all fantastic. This particular one is about Angel Moreno and Sarah. Sarah's mother is sent to jail, forcing Sarah to move to California to live with her Aunt, Uncle, and cousin Valerie. Unfortunatly, this means that Sarah must leave behind her best friend Sydney. Sydney and Sarah have been best friends since they were young kids. Also, Sydney is a boy. That becomes problem when Sarah meets and falls deeply in love with football star Angel Moreno, who not only doesnt believe that a guy and a girl cant just be friends, he bursts into flames of jealousy whenever a guy looks at Sarah. This scares Sarah into procrastinating to tell Angel about Sydney (Angel still doesnt know hes a guy). Thus creates a problem. Read this book! You will fall in love with Angel and the whole Moreno family instantly. Though this book is on the longer side i finished it in about a day. I couldnt put it down. Reyes does a wonderful job of not only writing a great story, but making the characters seem real.

I picked up Forever Mine after being in a bit of a reading rut for paranormal romance. It was just what I needed. I was immediately drawn into the world of Sarah moving in with her aunt because her Mom has to go to jail. Sarah was easy to identify with and I really enjoyed the fact that she wasn't necessarily outcast or picked on. Sarah easily found her niche and although vulnerable, she seems to be sweet and strong. Angel is a bit of the perfect boyfriend. His is definitely crush worthy. The story line was natural and realistic for me. I enjoyed being able to gain insight into both Sarah and Angel's feelings through an alternating POV.
After Sarah has to move in with an Aunt's family while her mother serves time in jail, she meets Angel at a high school party. Angel is struck by her beautiful green eyes and immediately wants to get to know her. As soon as they begin talking, the chemistry is instant and the romance builds. Angel immediately asks to see Sarah the next day. Sarah and Angel's romance begins to build into a sweet exclusive deep first love. Angel is protective and slightly Alpha Male when it comes to Sarah. Previously reviews have pointed out the posessive nature as being borderline abusive. However, I feel the author does a great job of explaining the fine line of difference between protectiveness and posessiveness. I really feel Angel doesn't take it too far.
I highly recommend this book for any romance fans! I loved Angel and Sarah and sure this will book I revisit in the future.
Overview
