Forever Night was a great little story.
It was pretty sad that Augustine had signed up to be in the war and left his wife and two kids in the house he had built for them. He went and was never heard from again. No body or anything.
Carrie Ann feels drawn to the house. Something feels like she’s coming home. She starts getting visits in the middle of the night from a ghost. She knows that it’s Augustine. One night she sees him and he makes love to her.
I loved reading a story that brought back two souls that had loved each other for years. To finally have them both in the home that they needed to be in. I wished that the ending had been a little different. It’s a mystery that will never be told. Who knows what Augustine is?
I don’t guess it really matters just as long as they are finally together at long last. No one will come between them again because whoever tries to buy the house will never be comfortable inside.
