Love my Moreno's!!!
When I first heard about getting more Moreno brothers books I was totally stoked. I loved this series and to this day it remains one of my top favorites. The characters, the love stories and romance combined with the humor and big family feel was a total win for me. So why was I nervous to even pick this up until now? Well, honestly, the couple in this book, Sarah and Angel, weren't really my favorites in the series. I enjoyed their story and thought that where they ended was perfect so I didn't feel like I needed more. I was so wrong because Forever Yours added so much more to their story and made me love them just a little bit more than I already did.
If you haven't read Forever Mine it doesn't matter because this is what happens in between Forever Mine and the epilogue at the end so you won't be lost. Sarah and Angel overcame a lot to be together. Her mother's jail time, Angel's jealousy of Sarah's best friend Sydney who turned out NOT to be a girl and fueled his jealousy, and girls who wouldn't leave Angel alone. From the end of High School to a few years into college now you'd think Angel and Sarah would be a bit more mature. In some respects they are but in others they still struggle with certain things. Angel is still jealous of Sydney but there's more reason to be upset when a long lost family member turns up in Sarah's life unexpectedly throwing up red flags. And Sarah is still a touch naive about things and tends to fib a little when she fears Angel will overreact. He's a hot headed Latino so, it's a given anyway so she shouldn't fight it. I forgot how intense Angel could be and though I like this couple, Angel gets on my nerves for some reason. He always has a little bit. I'm not sure if it's because he's so possessive of Sarah and let's her get away with nothing and then gets his feelings hurt and does whatever he wants but he irks me a little bit, especially in this one. A trip to Hawaii for an away football game gets him hot water with Sarah and for good reason. Being at a party with your ex is never a good idea. Between the two of them Sarah and Angel both fumble a few times in their relationship but for the most part they end up stronger than ever. Tears were welled up in my eyes as the epilogue wrapped up. Combined with how their original story ended this was just another beautiful addition for the two.
Sarah's "family" showing back up was an unexpected surprise and threw a little bit of added drama into the plot. I enjoyed this aspect of the story and really loved the character Leonardo even though he did a few shady things that almost came between this couple. I found myself intrigued to know more about him and hope to see him again in some capacity. I kind of felt bad for him even though he was supposed to be the bad guy. One character who I found, got on my nerves a little and this surprised even me because I loved this guy in his book, was Romero. He's not really a Moreno by blood but he's close enough and his book was my second favorite in this series but he had a tendency to be overbearing in this book and stick his nose in places that caused unnecessary issues between Sarah and Angel. Romero's growing fascination with surveillance and his "Kick ass, ask questions Later" attitude almost made me not like him. If his meddling would have ended up with Angel making a mistake in this book over pictures Romero took, I would have used his book as bird cage liner.
For someone who didn't think they wanted to read this novella because she was satisfied with the way the first book ended, I got super absorbed into this book. Seeing everyone again and getting back into this world full of sexy mexi-CUMS and the atmosphere Reyes created that is still going strong was a great feeling for me. This amazing clan of brothers and their lady loves I have found with Forever Yours just never gets old. I'm excited about seeing more stories from my favorite couples starting with Alex and Valerie next. Even though I know how their story ends and what their relationship was like in the early years I'm really excited. Not to mention hoping to see my Sal and Gracie again if the series is getting novellas for each couple. Love that you can believe in with some sexy romance and a lot of laughs is what you'll get when you open an Elizabeth Reyes book. She knows how to write some amazing Latino influenced books that make me a little hopeful and a lot hungry. Seriously, I loves me some Mexican food and she throws that in there. A lot. You don't want to miss this series!

I fell in love with Angel and Sarah. I actually read this one before reading the first one Forever Mine. Even though I knew how everything turned out for them, I had to go back and read the first one. Now I cannot get enough of this series. Definitely Recommend!
