Great start to this series! Lacy is lost in her life currently and looking to cross things off her bucket list. Riding a horse seemed like a good idea until she is snowed in by a blizzard in North Dakota. Fortunately, she is snowed in on a ranch surrounded by sexy cowboys! Drannon is instantly drawn to Lacy. There is a connection between these two that is sweet and sexy. I loved the family and teasing interactions of the all the men towards each other and Lacy. They may not be blood brothers, but they are brothers who support and love one another and those around them. Looking forward to reading their stories in this series!

The first book in Lori King’s new Crawley Creek series introduces readers to a unique set of brothers with dark and tortured pasts, but focuses on the eldest of the bunch and his instant attraction to disheartened young woman with a childhood yearning that was unfulfilled. Drannon Russo has his demons, but the love for his foster brothers has never waned. A sexy Cowboy, a hard worker and loyal to a fault, Drannon is also human, and the loneliness of life on the land can sneak up on you when it’s least expected. Lacy is suffering from yet another disappointment, but while awaiting news of a potential career, she’s determined to do what she’s always dreamed; learn to ride a horse. Lacy’s never come first in anyone’s life, so looking for romance is not on her radar. But a luscious Cowboy is making her rethink her well laid plans for the future and turning her whole world upside down. While some might think the romance between this couple moved way to fast, the romantic in me truly believes in love at first sight and applauded their passion.

Forget Me Knot is my first book by Lori King, but won't be my last. This was a fun, fast paced read. Forget Me Knot is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Ms King has crafted a well written book with fantastic characters. Drannon and Lacy's story is loaded with drama, humor and sexy bits. I enjoyed Forget Me Knot and look forward to reading more from Lori King in the future. Forget Me Knot is book 1 of the Crawley Creek Series and can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

The first book in the Crawley Creek series features Lacy who books a trip to Crawley Creek ranch so she can do something she has always wanted to do… learn to ride a horse. She gets much more than she bargained for when she meets Drannon, one of the owners of the ranch. Will she allow herself to let loose and enjoy a romance with a cowboy? And what happens when it’s time to leave her cowboy behind and head back to her real life? This book is probably every woman’s dream… a great vacation with sexy men and the start of a love affair. Drannon is such a likeable character who really cherishes his time with Lacy. He is a true cowboy gentleman. We also get introductions to the men in the next books, which I cannot wait to read about.

Lori King Wraps You Up In Hope! I bought this book as part of the Holiday Fever Collection. I was excited when I started reading. Knowing I was in for a treat. Having wept with The Beginning the first book in this series. I was totally expecting to cry with this one. But I found myself falling in love with Lacy and Drannon. Lacy Denvers was a lost soul. Searching for what was missing in her life. When she shows up for her vacation at Crawley Creek, looking to learn how to ride a horse. She never dreamed she would end up with more than she bargained for when she meets Drannon Russo. He is a tall sexy cowboy with hurt and mistrust in his heart. Drannon is one of the Crawley Creek Boys. He and his foster siblings were all raised by Abe and Sera Crawley when life pushed them down and stole their childhoods from them. Though each of the boys came from different backgrounds. They forged a link that made them family. Drannon has been hurt by everyone who ever mattered to him all his life. He just wants to live on the ranch and raise a family, but he wants that with Lacy. From the moment he laid eyes on her his heart was lost. It was within her eyes he could see the future he has always wanted. But can he convince a city loving woman that there is more to life than living each day alone. Needing to have her he sets out to catch her love. Lori King has built a beautiful world with solid characters. Her story is one of love, trust, and bravery... to face the unknown in hopes of finding an everlasting love. A 5 star book in every sense. A must have in any collection. And a brilliant opening to the Crawley Creek Series! I look forward to the next book in this series with anticipation.

This is Drannon's story - the eldest of the 'brothers' although Vin is the one that has been there the longest. He left the ranch to go out and make his life, but returned home after an unpleasant experience, and has never had the urge to leave again. Lacey shows up and the attraction between them is instantaneous and hot. She wants to learn how to ride a horse, as well as figure out her life, and figured that February in North Dakota was as good a place as any. This story, although Drannon and Lacey's, gives a fair amount of time to all the brothers. Their family unit is a strong one and they have a lot of love and respect for each other, although that doesn't stop the ribbing that takes place. I really enjoyed this book as Drannon may hide behind his cowboy's persona, but he is a romantic at heart. Lacey has no resistance to this and, let me tell you, my heart melted too. Well written, with a smooth pace, and enough about Abe and Sera so I knew what had happened to them, I was immersed in this story and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who likes romance, with a dash of cowboy! * I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

4 star The story has laughs, secrets and heartbreak.  This is Lacy and Drannon’s story. Lacy booked a trip to the Crawley Creek Cattle Ranch but didn’t realize that she might be snowed in during her stay. She meets Drannon the first day but the meeting turns awkward after a little flirting. She meets him and again and realizes he is great but intense. Can she deal with that? The more time she spends with Drannon the more she has feelings for him but she is awaiting he big break and if she gets it she can’t stay. Can she give up on the dream she wanted to stay and love Drannon? Or will she realize her dreams have changed? Will Drannon ask her to stay or expect her to go? Will love win in the end?  I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Cowboy Cake This was a excellent and fun book and I loved it from beginning to end. Lacy has kind of lost her way and is in search of trying to find what she wants out of life. So she decides to fulfill one of her dreams which is to learn how to ride a horse. Enter Crawley Creek Cattle Ranch (CCCR) which is owned by Drannon Russo and his brothers. Drannon who had issues of his own came home after realizing that family has your back through the good times and the bad times. The story-line flowed from one page to the next, the characters were delicious and the chemistry was combustible. I really enjoyed this visit to Crawley Creek Cattle Ranch and can't wait to see what's in store for the next brother and the lucky lady who ropes him.
