You really should read this book. It's a small investment for a wealth of information. Once you read it though, your eyes will be opened. Ms. Gangi is honest in her portrayal of the consumer-based money driven health care system we find ourselves in the US. If you are at all the least concerned with the high cost of health care or you or people you know can't even afford coverage - you'd do well to read this book. It will save you trips to the doctor by providing practical tips on what you can do for yourself and your family to keep you healthy. You have the power to control what goes into and onto your body. This book will help you make informed decisions.

In this easy to read book, Rayna G. shows you how to use 7 simple keys that will lead you on the path to staying well and harboring your soul and its intention with dignity and honor. Learn how to trust your soul and its purpose as your sole reason for being. Use her Medicine Wheel meditation honoring the 4 directions (pp. 65-68) and morning stretches in bed (pp. 95-96) to help align your spirit and body on your Earthwalk. Journal to find out how all energy within and around you affects your being. Discover 2 questions to ask yourself so that you can live your life simply in tune with your true spirit of love, free from fear. You¿ll ¿feel it in your fingers, you¿ll feel it in your toes¿ as Rayna teaches you to look at your body with reflexology, massage, chiropractic principles, chakra awareness, iridology, and much more! She even throws in the old Edgar Cayce adages about keeping your body alkaline and paying attention to digestion and elimination of wastes. To top it all off she adds a dash of Essential Oils to give spice to living life well. I¿ve known and respected Rayna for many years. It is with deep respect for her wisdom and wit that I highly recommend anyone seeking health and well-being that balances body, mind and spirit to READ THIS BOOK AND PASS IT ALONG TO SHARE WITH A FRIEND!

These days it seems that people know more about how their cars work than their own bodies. Gangi not only guides us through a 'how to' manual for caring for our bodies but she takes us through discovering our true spiritual being as well. I can't think of anyone I know that wouldn't benefit from the wisdom this remarkable book has to offer. The food chart alone is an eye opener into what will help our bodies as well as what is so potentially dangerous. This is one of those rare finds that has you saying out loud as you read, 'Well that makes sense!' I also recommend listening to Gangi's podcasts as well for they are an inspiring way to start your day. Forget The Cures, Find The Cause:Book One is an amazing guide for us all on our 'earth-walk' and I'm looking forward to Book Two to be just as beautifully written and insightful.

This book is a blueprint for all who want to take charge of their life and heal themself. Chapter 7 explains why we do not absorb the minerals we need. By following these guidelines we can have optimal health. Spiritual, emotional and physical health is obtained by listening to your body, and Rayna's book cuts to the chase and simplifies all your questions. A must read!

Stop treating the symptoms and treat the cause. It sounds like advice from our mothers, doesn't it? Unfortunately, today's society at large has turned away from the wisdom of our elders and our knee-jerk reaction is to pop a pill for whatever ails us. In Forget the Cures, Find the Cause, Rayna M. Gangi makes a case for eliminating the quick fixes that have become a staple of American life, yet never seem to truly solve our medical dilemmas. Gangi explains why treating every pain or ailment, whether physical, mental, or spiritual, fails to work. The reason modern medicines and treatments fail to work is simple: we have failed to eliminate the cause. Gangi leads the reader through a path of self-discovery and a return to common sense as she illustrates how today's lifestyle is actually destroying our very existence. According to Gangi, a Holistic Health practitioner, the path to wellness lies in changes in diet and our ways of thinking. She points out that most medical professionals earnestly want to help patients, but are restrained by threats of lawsuits and are locked into their own idealistic interpretations of what are currently known as traditional practices, clouded by cultural biases. As patients, we force ourselves into vicious cycles of self-destruction when we medicate our insecurities rather than attempting to discover the circumstances causing our pain. Gangi believes that humans react to every situation either from love or from fear. Choosing to react from fear can actually cause that which we fear most to materialize. Utlizing Native American medicine and lore combined with Christian spirituality, Gangi provides us with some simple steps for improving our own physical health. She speaks with a motherly compassion for humanity as she accompanies us on our journey through our Earthly existence. Part instruction and part inspiration, Forget the Cures serves as a crucial reminder to mankind to slow down and stop letting the chaos of modern life prevent our bodies from completing the self-mending they were designed to do.
