To say this is a good book is an understatement. I truly enjoy Ed Greenwoods style of writing but would expect nothing less from the Creator of the Realms.

Ed Greenwood is one of the best fantasy writers ever! He DOES have a plot (an awesome one), his characters are NOT seedy, and it DOES have a story. That other person just doesn't know a good story when they see one. I've met Ed Greenwood He's AWESOME!

I just recently finished this book, and thought it was quite good. I liked how the little stories within the pages all bleed in with one another, it gave the story a little zest, looking at it from different angles. Altho the ending with disapointing, I thought there'd be more to it. I never really found out why the evil goddess was doing what she was doing. But I guess thats why maybe the'll be a sequel? :D

I put it down halfway through the second novella. At least I know now not to ever purchase any more of Greenwoods books. It had no plot no story and went through more seedy charactars than a bunny ranch employee.

Although the underlying story was interesting, the book was a disappointment. The main characters were almost immortal which took away from the excitement. page after page of battles against overwhelming odds, taking considerable damage (which would kill any other person) and then healing themselves and walking away.
