    A secretly excellent book!

We had a huge discussion trying to find a fantasy book with a female protagonist who is not a courtesan. This is actually one of the very few books that actually meets that criteria! And it is pretty good.

If you want female versions of Drizzit and R.A. Salvortore

While feining for another good author like R.A. Salvotore, i came across Elaine Cummingham. I appreciate how she weilds a pen to also include other characters from the Forgotten Realms series. You fall right in to the characters and have fun all the way. Drizzit and Liriel just might be related???

If you´re a drow fan, come on in...

For a tale of Magic and Mayhem, none steps up to the challange quite like Liriel Baenre. The daughter of the famous Archmage of Menzoberanzan, she can hold a candle to her father easily. If you are like me, and you find the Drow enchanting, and you love tales of magic, you´ll find a book here that you won´t be able to let go. The dark sense of humor, found in both heroes of this book, and this serie, is very good, and you´ll have a few laughs. So, please, pick up the book, and try to prove me wrong...

If u like Drizzit read on...

This book quickly emersed you into it. Beautifully written. Makes it seem as if you were in Menzo. The main character showed hints of the female version of Drizzit. Kinda would like to see the two hook up later down the road.

The first tale I've read about the Drow.

I've never read anything about the Drow before, but this puts you right in the middle and does a great job making you understand their society. The main character Liriel wields great magic and learns more by the moment and takes it to the surface! great book and I look forward to more.

    Great and funny book!

This book is really funny and soooo entertaining, I'm glad a friend of mine recommended it to me. The characters are very well developed, and the book leaves you wanting more. I can't wait 'till I get to read Tangled Webs!
