    WOW

WHAT a book. I loved it. Drittz and Zak are the coolest charecters. I just hate that the female are stronger! The trilogy is one of the most amazing fantasy books ever!

    R.A. Salvatore's writing

R.A. Salvatore is the first author i've read in the Forgotten Realms books and these were the first of them. since reading these books i fell in love and bought all other FR books of his. they are the best i've seen and the characters are so real. i am often told how i can read books so big, i tell eveyone that i am not reading it, but seeing it. its really seems like your living it yourself, seeing everything that happens to the characarters, you begin to even feel for the characaters and understand them. anyone whose anyone must by these books.

Best Fantasy I've read in a long time!

These were the first books by Salvatore I read and they are now some of my favorite books. Drizzt and all the other characters are very real, I could relate to them all. I know that so many people have said this so many times it's almost a cliche, but reading these books really is like watching a movie, especially the fighting scenes. Any fantasy of sci-fi fan has got to love these. Most of my friends would kill me if they knew I'd said this, but Salvatore buries Tolkien!

    GOOD GUYS DO WEAR BLACK

Unbelievable!!!! This is the first series that I have read concerning Drizzt, and has made me want more. Bob Salvatore has taken new steps in defining that 'dark' side of fantasy charactors, that resides in us all. In understanding Drizzt, we can come to understand our own reality.

    One of the Best!!!

This was about a guiltless boy, Drizzt Do'Urden, who is born on the night a royal house is attacked. Drizzt gets trained by his father, Zaknafein, who is also innocent, and the Academy, Melee-Magthere. He becomes a skilled Two-hands fighter and sets off from the unholy city of Menzoberranzan, his homeland, and the Spider Queen, Lloth, to survive in the wild away from the evil drow elves, whom he calls his "kin". He lives through a series of unfortunate events, befriends a panther, lives as an outcast alone with his panther in the underdark, and finally gets to the Surface world, which is not as evil as the drow called it. It is a very appelling trilogy. I reccomend the book to readers of fantasy and sci-fi.
