Description: This is a revised and updated version of the formatting program of choice for any student, researcher, or clinician. It contains the essential templates to create the appropriate American Psychological Association style for term papers, theses, scientific articles, and dissertations, including formatting of references. The program can be very easily installed on both PCs and Macs.
Purpose: The purpose is to provide users with the ability to easily format their papers in APA style as well as to automatically insert references and citations into the appropriate section as they are entered into the body of the paper. The program is well designed, easy to use, and quite affordable.
Audience: It is intended for all individuals who use APA style. This includes clinicians, researchers, and undergraduates and graduate students. Students will quickly find this program to be their best friend.
Features: This is an easy to use, easy to install, and overall exciting program that makes writing in APA style less complicated and less daunting. This new version contains a set of four user friendly templates for journal articles, dissertations, term papers, and theses. The automatic entry of reference entries and citations as well as the automatic modification of the title and running head are great time savers. The user's manual is complete and thorough and it takes only 1-2 hours to master the entire program. Users of previous versions will not be disappointed.
Assessment: This is an excellent program, affordable, and will be a pleasure to use in both academic and research applications. I am thoroughly impressed with this product, its timesaving features, and the well designed templates. This new version incorporates the 5th edition of the APA publication manual. I can recommend this product to academics, researchers, and, especially, graduate students. I only wish I had this when I was in school!
