Meet the Author

Rob Burnett grew up in the Falkland Islands before coming to the UK in 1999 to continue his education. He has been an F1 fan for as long as he can remember and his favourite driver is Johnny Herbert. Without a go-kart scene in the Falklands, Rob was unable to develop into the star driver he would doubtless have become, so instead he turned to journalism and now earns a crust writing about football. This is his second book, after Football On This Day, which he co-wrote with long-time friend and collaborator Joe Mewis in 2008.
