Forosoco [Bonus Tracks]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Jason Ankeny
The title Forosoco is derived from the first two letters of each musical genre the Bacon Brothers tackle -- in other words, folk, rock, soul, and country. Kevin Bacon acquits himself far more admirably than most actors who attempt to forge musical careers, sharing the load with his more experienced brother, Michael; guest appearances from the likes of Jon Bon Jovi and Jonathan Edwards also add to the record's mainstream appeal. [In 2003, Forosoco was reissued with live versions of "They Still Holler Boogie" and "Footloose" as bonus tracks.]

Glad I didn't miss this one

I was blown away by these recordings. The personally written songs were heartfelt, the performance of them was enjoyable, and the arrangements were of superior quality. I am a definite fan from now on - even at 73 years of age.

    AWESOME!

This is definitely at the top of my favorite cds! It's just so fun and full of life. My two year old son gets a big smile and starts bopping around as soon as I turn it on. This always puts me in a good mood.
