"I have been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. I became interested in writing haiku in 2010, and I have been doing so almost every day since then. The haiku in "Found and Lost" are not traditional in their subject matter, but they do use the traditional 5-7-5 format (each one has three lines, the first and third comprising five syllables and the second comprising seven syllables).
I have been married to my wonderful husband, John, since 1993. We live in Bristow, Virginia, and we share our home with four colorful fish we bought last year because we're too old to have a child and too lazy to take care of a dog."
