Meet the Author

Laurelin Paige is the NY Times and USA TODAY Bestselling author of the Fixed trilogy. She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Mad Men and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Adam Levine. She is represented by Bob Diforio of D4EO Literary Agency.

The first book was good, and this one was great! I'm so excited for the next book. I found Alanya and Hudson's story by accident but I'm so glad I got to read it. There is a lot of ups and downs but I really hope they find their happily ever after. They both deserve each other.

Hudson and Alayna story continues...loved it! The alpha male thing works great with the obsessive Alayna. It just clicked and believable. I can't wait for book 3...

I love this series. Please hurry up with the next book. Although I hate these continued books I will buy this one. I wish there was a warning that the story would be continued, I wouldn't be buying these 3 and 4 and on separate books to buy to finishe the story. I do enjoy this writer.

I had to start Found in You, the second in the Fixed Trilogy by Laurelin Paige as soon as I finished the first book. (see my review here) I was so falling in love with the series as a whole and it was just starting to get really good and suspensey, there was no way I could stop reading. My notes on this book are jumbled and all over the place because honestly that’s how I felt this book was. Crazy and all over the place. But not in a bad crazy kind of way, in a ‘this is so great and crazy’ kind of way. I make no sense, I know, just go with it. Things start to heat up in book two and I don’t just mean in the bedroom. Alayna is so crazy in this book. I mean I get the girl is literally crazy, but at the same time she’s gone OTT crazy. I felt so bad for her, but at the same time, I again, really enjoyed reading how her brain was working through all of her compulsive behaviors. Plus I think anyone, while reading will know that all of these decisions she’s making are going to come back and bite her in the butt. It made me, as a reader, want to shake her a little, but also I felt so bad for her. Alayna really starts to spiral downward for a portion of this book and it was an interesting ride. Found in You gives us more about Hudson in some ways, but I also found myself asking more and more questions about him. I want to believe him so much because the things coming out of his mouth were amazing, but there was just a part of me that didn’t feel he was fully trustworthy yet. I just couldn’t help but feel that Hudson was keeping something huge from all of us and it was going to be heartbreaking. At the same time Alayna is making some really bad choices on who to trust in this book and I just wanted her to get it together so we could all bask in the love and sweetness that was Hudson. I did have one complaint about this story and I have a feeling that once our readers find out what it was there will a collective gasp, but I just can’t help how I feel. The sex in book two was good, but too much. As in there was too much of it. I know, I know. I just couldn’t help feeling this way, I’m sorry. Every time this couple has a fight they use sex to solve the problem. This seems to happen all the time in romance books and it annoys the ever lovin’ crap out of me. Sooner or later the couple has to actually talk about their issues, they can’t always screw it out. I just hate it when I feel like the heroine in the story is so sex crazed that if you give her one good orgasm she’ll do whatever you want. But the sex is good, definitely hot so if you like your smut good and smutty this is a series to check out. Found in You was so good it made me want to read all day rather than get any work done (hence why I’ve been so quiet around here and I’m once again behind in reviews. Damn you Laurelin Paige!) I just couldn’t help myself and once the story was getting close to the end it really hit the fan. My stomach was slow motion dropping and I didn’t think I could handle it. Things were just so good. At first I rated Found in you a 4.5, but as I was jotting down my ending thoughts, think of something like Jerry’s Final Thought, when I realized that I gave up an entire day of work to finish reading this book. I’m quite sure that in itself denotes a five star read. If you haven’t already, get to one-clicking this series.

Hudson leaned on the side of being a jerk in Found in You. Even knowing the type of person Celia was he believed her over Alayna really set me off. This is not a stand alone novel, it is part of a trilogy.

From the very beginning I was so frustrated with Laynie's stupidity. For someone so smart she was certainly behaving pretty stupidly. I kept grabbing my hair.in frustration over pretty much everything she did from the beginning. To lie to.him is just plain stupid as is.trusting people who have everything to gain from her downfall. Made it hard for me to get through.
