Today-perhaps more than ever, perhaps not-the Constitution is under attack. The best antidote to these attacks is knowledge-knowledge of what the Constitution does, how it does it, and why.

This book is not an academic book-that's not who I'm writing for. It's not full of stuffy, boring language and unnecessarily complex statements. This books is a plain, common-sense, clear explanation of the philosophy behind the Constitution.

You shouldn't have to have an advanced degree to understand the logic of the Constitution. It should be accessible by all-because it was written for all. That's what I'm aiming to protect, and that's what this book is for.

About the Author

From a young age, Austin Prochko was imbued with an ardent love of America, its principles, and its Founding by his grandmother. A former secondary school history and government teacher, Austin now works in Austin at the Texas Public Policy Foundation to help further the cause of freedom in Texas and nationwide. He holds a B.A. in Politics from Hillsdale College and a Master of Politics from the University of Dallas. Austin and his wife live in Schertz, Texas, and are blessed with two sons.
