Foundations of Freedom: The Layman's Guide to the Philosophy of the American Founding
Power is a coveted thing. Those with power seek to expand their power, and those without power seek to gain power. Luckily for Americans, the Constitution-that almost 250-year-old document-stands as a buffer against individual power.

Today-perhaps more than ever, perhaps not-the Constitution is under attack. The best antidote to these attacks is knowledge-knowledge of what the Constitution does, how it does it, and why.

This book is not an academic book-that's not who I'm writing for. It's not full of stuffy, boring language and unnecessarily complex statements. This books is a plain, common-sense, clear explanation of the philosophy behind the Constitution.

You shouldn't have to have an advanced degree to understand the logic of the Constitution. It should be accessible by all-because it was written for all. That's what I'm aiming to protect, and that's what this book is for.
