Carol M. Bast is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida and a member of The Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association and the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Ms. Bast is a member of many professional organizations, including American Society of Writers on Legal Subjects and the Legal Writing Institute. She has won several professional awards, presented at numerous events and co-authored several publications, including FOUNDATIONS OF LEGAL RESEARCH AND WRITING AND FLORIDA COURTS. Carol M. Bast is a graduate of New York Law School and received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Doctoral Degree in Spanish from the University of Florida.
Ransford C. Pyle is retired as Associate Professor Emeritus from the University of Central Florida and resides in Gainesville, Florida. In addition to FOUNDATIONS OF LAW: CASES, COMMENTARY AND ETHICS, he has authored several publications, including FAMILY LAW and BUSH V. GORE: UNDERSTANDING THE AMERICAN LEGAL SYSTEM. Dr. Pyle is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law and received a Doctoral Degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida.
