Meet the Author

Denise George has been writing and publishing for 35 years. She has authored 27 books with traditional publishing houses, and had sold more than 1500 articles for magazines such as Redbook, Essence, Guideposts, Decision, and many others. Her latest books are The Gentle Giant of Dynamite Hill (Judge Helen Shores Lee and Barbara S. Shores with Denise George, Zondervan, August 2012); A Woman's Right to Rest (Leafwood Publishers, Fall, 2012); While the World Watched (Carolyn McKinstry with Denise George, Tyndale House Publishers, released Feb. 1, 2010.) Denise is married to Dr. Timothy George, founding dean of Beeson Divinity School, Samford University. She is mother to two wonderful grown children.
