“A complex and haunting story of tangled personalities, deeply buried family secrets, and of violence lying thinly under the surface . . . hits the reader right between the eyes.”—Los Angles Times Book Review
At a party for a controversial sex therapist, Alex encounters Sharon Ransom, an alluring lover who, more than a decade earlier, abruptly left him. The following day Sharon is dead, an apparent suicide. Driven by guilt and sadness, Alex plunges into the labyrinthine maze of her life—a journey taking him to the pleasure palaces of California’s ultrarich, and deep into the dark alleyways of the mind, where childhood terrors still hold sway.
“I double dare you to start reading Devil’s Waltz and put it down.”—Larry King
Toddler Cassie Jones is rushed to the hospital with symptoms no doctor can explain. When Alex is called to investigate, instinct tells him that someone—Cassie’s parents or the child’s devoted nurse—could be a monster. Then a physician is brutally killed, and a shadowy death revealed. Alex and Milo have only a few hours to discover the link between these shocking events and baby Carrie’s terrifying condition.
“Bad Love will have you looking over your shoulder before you turn out the lights.”—Detroit Free Press
Arriving in an unmarked brown wrapper is an audiocassette recording of a horrifying scream, followed by the chanting of a childlike voice. The tape is an early intimation that Alex is entering a living nightmare. With Milo’s help, Alex uncovers a diabolical pattern of violent murder. And if they do not quickly decipher the twisted logic of a stalker’s mind game, Alex will be the next to die.
“Exciting . . . loaded with tension and packed with titillating insights.”—The New York Times Book Review
Lucy Lowell is referred to Alex for help with a recurring nightmare of a child in the forest at night, watching a strange and furtive act. Now Lucy’s dream is disrupting her waking life, and Alex is concerned. The dream’s grip on her emotions suggests to him that it may be more than a nightmare. It could be Lucy’s repressed childhood memory of something chillingly real. Something like murder.

Call it Stupid Waste of Time and Waste of What Little Brainpower the Authr has. I give this zero out of five stars. Boring, not realistic, weird, and disgusting.
(K guys for these comments please leave a possible title name to. Really appreciate it. Thanks.) (Also instead of str.ip club, its a s.x club) As we got in the car Jake pulled out his phone and texted someone. I couldn't see who it was though or what the text said. After that he googled the nearest s.ex club, which was an hour away.. So he had me hold his phone and give directions so he could drive. An hour later we pulled up to the club. At the door stood two figures, I couldn't tell who they were because it was dark out. I looked at Jake and kissed him hard before getting out. When we walked over to the door I recongnized the two figures, it was Mark and Drew. I knew them from Jake having them come over for the last 2 years, and they were both in my geography college class. So I knew them for awhile. When I saw them I looked at Jake," why are they here?" I asked. "I invited them," he replied smilling. As we reached the door I smiled and greeted them. "What did he do to get you here?" Mark asked. "I came on my own free will," I replied. After that we went in as a group. Then Jake and Drew left, I don't know why though. That left me and Mark, alone. Then the owner came over and asked if I wanted a job there. He said I looked se.xy and that I could give someone a good time. At that I smiled and said that I couldn't I was going to college. He suggested that I do it for that night at least and that he would pay me. I agreed to it. So I walked around and found some drunks and walked over. "Hey boys, wanna have some fun?" I asked them. They looked at me and smiled. I led them to a room and then the fun began. The first one said he was Thomas and the other was Kal. I introduced myself as 'shade'. Thomas got on top of me while the other was under me. They both shoved their giant co.cks into me and I let out a moan as they humped me. This lasted about 20 minutes. Then it was time for me to find someone else. I came across Mark, Drew, and Jake so I went over and asked them if they wanted some. They all looked at each other then at me and smiled. "Where to?" Mark asked. "Follow me," I lead them to a back room. We all smiled at each other and began. I kept this rotine up until 5am. At the end of the night I got payed and went home. My pu.ssy was throbbing, when we got home I went upstairs and got changed and fell asleep on the couch. Later I got up and went to college. (I know, probably not as good as the first one, but give me a break I've never writtin these types of stories.)
