Overview

Marriage hasnt tamed Candace Callahans sexual curiosity, something her husband Ryan is grateful for, but when she asks him to tie her up for her anniversary present, he knows hes going to need the help of their friends, Richard Wolfe and his wife, Fallon.
Dr. Fallon Enright is the resident sex therapist aboard the Lothario - the cruise ship co-owned by her husband and Ryan Callahan. When Ryan asks to participate in one of their couples rope bondage classes, Richard isnt sure its a good idea, but Fallon assures him all will be well.
What begins as innocent curiosity, blossoms into a polyamorous relationship none of them could have expected, but they are powerless to ignore. When the tabloids expose their new lifestyle, the foursome must choose between the love they feel for each other, or accepting societys moral constraints.

Reader Alert!: Ryan Callahan cant deny his wife Candace anything, even if it means asking their friends, Richard and Fallon to help him tie her up. That first encounter opens the floodgates, and the four friends cant keep their hands off each other! Open your mind and your heart to a love that pushes the boundaries in every possible way!

To My Readers: When I first began writing the Lothario series, I knew, ultimately, I would write this book. As much as I loved telling the stories of these two couples in THE LUST BOAT and SHOW ME THE ROPES, I knew there was much more ahead for them. I know some of the themes in FOUR OF HEARTS skirt the edges of what society deems moral, but I ask you to reserve judgment to the very end. Everyone knows its possible to love more than one person in our lifetime, but society dictates we love in a linear fashion, one after the other. We see it all the time following the death of a spouse, or divorce, but what if you found the other love of your life while in a committed relationship? My two couples werent looking for love outside their marriage, but as you know, love finds you, usually when you least expect it.
Welcome aboard the Lothario once again, where anything is possible.

EXCERPT

Ryan froze with his lips against the pulse in Candaces neck. His erection surged with new vigor against her stomach. Why couldnt his wife ask for something easy for their anniversary? Something like diamonds, a villa in France, hell, even an expedition to the North Pole. The image in his brain coalesced, and he knew he would give her whatever she wanted.

You want me to tie you up? he asked as soon as he found his voice.

Dont even try to tell me it doesnt excite you. Candace wiggled her soft mound against his cock. I felt that.

He had no intention of denying his interest. Only a fool would, and Ryan Callahan was no fool. He continued his exploration of his wifes creamy soft skin, all the while forming and reforming the new image in his head. His lips left her neck, slipped to her shoulder where he tasted every inch of skin, before angling lower toward the perfect swell of her breasts. His hands held hers pinned flat on either side of her head. Hed tied her hands once, when hed spirited her away from the Lothario and onto the Vixen, but that had been role-playing more than anything else. He was pretty sure she had something more in mind. He hoped to God she did.

Her request shouldnt have been a surprise. Shed spent a lot of time lately talking to his best friends wife. Rope bondage was Fallons new research topic, and a passion shared with her husband Richard. Ryan inched his way lower, and teased one nipple to a marble hard peak with his tongue, before taking it in his mouth. Candace drew in a sharp breath and arched her back, encouraging him to suck harder. He obliged his wife.

His wife. The moniker still sent a thrill through his body every time he thought, or said the word. Candace Callahan. His wife. God, what a wondrous thing that was. For nearly a year, shed been his constant companion, his lover, hiseverything. Before he met Candace, hed been lost and alone, searching for something he couldnt name. Now it had a name. Love.

Well? Candace prodded on a gasp as Ryan switched breasts, sucking the poor, neglected one in his mouth without preamble.

Surely, she knew the answer. He couldnt deny her anything. Still, he made her wait for his reply. It wasnt as if he hadnt given it any thought himself. There wasnt much he hadnt imagined doing with Candace.

He released her hands and slid lower until he lay

Meet the Author

My father once compared my mother to an old shaggy dog. Open the car door and she'd jump in. I inherited the wanderlust gene from her, I guess. I love to travel - anywhere. I'm not picky. I'll walk, I'll take a book, bus, car, plane, or cruise ship, as long as it takes me somewhere I haven't been before. Roz has been married to her high school sweetheart for thirty-two years and is the proud mother of two grown daughters, both in grad school. She divides her time between her home in rural New Jersey and Los Angeles, where her husband works. She's never without her laptop and prefers to write with her Labrador Retriever, Betty Boop, by her side. Roz admits she's addicted to Facebook, chocolate, and travel, not necessarily in that order. When she's not clicking the computer keys, she's either on the road looking for a new adventure, or at the gym, where she claims some of her best ideas come to her while she's on the elliptical. She confesses some of that has to do with the hot, sweaty men to be found there too, but don't tell her husband. He thinks she goes there to stay in shape!

My Review: This was a first for me in my erotic reading. This book is about two happily married couples who have been best friends forever, but one night of sexual curiosity changes the dynamic of their relationships drastically. They become involved in a polyamorous relationship which means they are all romantically involved with each other. I've read lots of menage books, but this book had a different dynamic with it being two couples that become involved as a foursome. It was good, although I personally find it hard to imagine. My personal feelings about the reality of the relationship aside, the book was written really well in that these four people have been friends forever. They both have happy marriages and these two guys are very Alpha...not the type who would normally accept ANYone else touching their wife. The author wrote that aspect of the relationship really well. For the two guys, although they find their bodies thinking that this is all really hot, mentally' it's just not that easy for them to accept. It's the girls, whom they love to the point of wanting to do anything for them, who push the envelope on this relationship. It was an interesting book and while not something that I would normally pick up to read, I found it to be really hot and definitely intriguing. The two guys own a cruise ship together so they all spend lots of time on the ship or at various islands. It definitely adds to the fantasy of the story that everything is taking place in such exotic locales. It was a fun book to read for a bit of something different.
