Pretty good read for a teenager

I read this book before I gave it to my grand-daughter. It is a story about a young shopaholic, fad addict and describes her adventures in a new school. She goes through quite a bit of culture shock and many lessons she never had to face in her "old life" of designer clothes and posh vacations.

    Honest Review

First of all, whoever wrote the information in the overview must be reading a different book because it is completely wrong.
Second of all, I got the book last week and here is what it says on the back of the book for the summary.
    Dear Number Seventeen,
Welcome to FOUR TRUTHS AND A LIE. Over the next few weeks I will be sending you five statements. It will be your job to figure out which is which. You have until Monday to figure it out. If you choose not to participate in this game you are destined for darkness...
Eighth-grader Scarlett Northon has a secret- and not just a little secret. We're talking seriously, completely, 100-percent change-your-life big secret! So much that her mother, in effort to shield Scarlett from hometown gossip, ships her off to prestigious all-girls charter school. Scarlett thinks her life is absolutely over. But what she doesn't know is that her life is about to get absolutely interesting, because one day she recieves an anonymous letter. The letter says it contains four truths and a lie-and her reputation depends on determining which is which. As the letters keep coming, and the truths and lies start piling up, Scarlett begins to realize that maybe her secret isn't so safe after all.
