If your looking for a writing and reading assignment book this could work for you. But I was looking for a reading exercise book for speed and comprehension. Something more focused and specific. This book would be to time consuming and disjointed in its approach. I do not wish to add another whole class to my day. Which is what this one would require or else you could leave the child confused. Unless of course your child is a proficeint reader and writer already, then you would not need this book anyway.
