Fox Diaries was a very enjoyable story.  My children and I learned so much about this little fox family specifically but even more generally we learned so much about fox families, their habitat, their behaviors, their play etc...  They are so cute and the author did a great job naming and portraying each of the family members.  They were so cute and although they are foxes, their personalities can be similar to so many other species of animals.  We loved this book and it is so educational and informative.  A great way to teach our children while also entertaining them.  Five stars.  Oh - and the photography was awesome!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Truly a magnificent story for Children of all ages!

Told with exquisite photos, The Fox Diaries is a perfect blend of storytelling, observance, and facts about foxes. A story about a family of foxes who live in the authors front yard. I delighted in embracing their distinctive personalities, and how this patient mother fox cared and murmured her young as she taught them lessons to survive with. Author Valarie Budayr has given us a front row seat into the daily life and world of foxes. Great to read alone or share with loved ones. It will soon become a treasured family favorite. I purchased the Fox Diaries for my 9 year old for his birthday and he LOVED it. This dino-loving-100%-boy was so excited with this book and the beautiful pictures, he took it to school when his class project was to do a book report on his favorite book for Station F.U.N. As a parent, I love this book too. Such a sweet story and the imagery and graphic design is unlike anything else I have seen. Two paws...um...thumbs up for The Fix Diaries!

The Fox Diaries is a charming mix of storytelling, facts, and observances about a family of fox that take up residence in the author's yard--to her delight. Through photography, storytelling and facts about foxes, we enjoy the individual personalities of each in the fox family, we learn about how a mother fox cares for her young--and how she teaches them to grow and become independent.
