Fifteen year-old Jennifer Davis and her two best friends, Tasha Chen and Kyle Saunders, are excited about a summer of riding and showing horses at Foxtail Creek Stables. With their first competition only two weeks away, they volunteer to finance and plan the stable's annual pre-show party, a huge responsibility. But someone keeps sabotaging their efforts. Who is it and why? Will the party be ruined?

At the same time, Tasha has her heart set on serious summer romance. But will the boy she likes return her affection?

Meanwhile, Jennifer and Kyle are having horse trouble. Jennifer's school mount is too sluggish, while Kyle's horse won't jump correctly. Can they work everything out before the show?
