Ruda is one of the greatest scholars in art history and the humanities. No other source reveals as much of Lippi's spirit as this monograph , with keen and endearing observations. Ruda, who has devoted his career to this master, is part of Lippi's legacy, like Leonardo. Fra Filippo is very lucky. VALETE
