These books have information that can be found on state websites. Most of the information about grants gives a small picture of what you really have to do to get the grant i.e. low interest loans and free consultation. Be careful of scams there really is no free money for individuals and free consultation and low interest loans are classified as grants by the federal government. So save yourself some money and check out the federal website. make sure it ends in .gov

I would say one of the most misleading books available. Most of the information can be found by searching the internet and most Americans do not, or cannot even qualify for the said programs. By all means, save your money!

Hundreds of pages of things like "WOW! DID YOU KNOW SENIORS CAN GET FREE COFFEE AT DENNY'S?!?!?!?!?!"
THAT'S how he proposes you save money to pay for bills. Unless you are 90, legally blind, on 50 medicines you can't afford, and have doctors appointments 4 a day, this book isn't for you.
Not that there's anything wrong with anyone meeting that criteria. But they represent a small cross section of society and he markets this book as if it is for everyone on Earth. It isn't.
It DID however stoke what I had going on in my fireplace. It was AWESOME for that.

This book is just like the last one he made. Not very good on information. I never found any grant information that might help me. Sorry.

Perused the book in the store and found the information limiting; i.e., relative to certain states, gender, etc. One is better off utilizing one's resources, e.g. money and time, to research local (opportunities)... Or get on the waiting list at your local library if you need to satisfy your curiosity.

With great anticipation this looked like the ticket for a purchase. However since there were no reviews posted I read Lesko's previous book's reviews posted. -Can't help but think this 'tiger has not changed his stripes' -therefore I won't be buying it.
