Over the past few years, I have been trying on and off to learn to do free-motion machine quilting. Although I have been using a sewing machine for years, I just couldn't seem to get the hang of free-motion machine quilting even though I had bought at least a half-dozen books assuring the reader that they could learn to machine quilt. Then I sort of stumbled onto "Free-Motion Machine Quilting" by Don Linn. His method of teaching and some tips that were new to me finally turned on the "light" and now, using his step-by-step instructions with lots of detailed drawings, plus the practice that he recommends has finally made it start happening for me. I consider this book to be a gold-mine of free-motion machine quilting information.
