Terrorism Has Evolved

The Black Horizon terrorist network has recruited an American citizen who works at the White House (Propolyn Monsoon) to overthrow the American government. Will the United States reclaim past glory and stem the tide of foreign and homegrown terrorists attempting to take over the leader of Western society?

Propolyn Monsoon works in the White House, but little does she know that a terrorism plot is about to be unleashed. After meeting Pentagon employee Jack Price, the plans of the Black Horizon terrorist network become more clear, but something more sinister lurks beneath the surface. The technology once used to help citizens is now working against its own people.

As the pieces of the scheme are being put into place in preparation for the entrance of terrorist leader Hellemid Muhammad, loyalties will be tested, espionage and romance are tools of war, and destinies will be determined as the forces of Black Horizon fight and struggle against the remnants of the federal government in this terroristic and technological fantasy thriller.

Who will prevail?

It is a privilege to announce the release of the fiction novel Freedom Denied, a modern day techno thriller work which blends a number of themes to include espionage, technology, fantasy, and occult elements into a modern day story that involves the continuing real life struggle to prevent terrorism from coming to our shores.

Two years in the making, the book addresses modern day terrorism realities, while blending pure entertainment into an action packed drama. The story unfolds and builds a steady climax with suspense, to keep the reader on the edge, and wondering what will happen next.

While Freedom Denied is pure fiction with some fantasy and occult themes, a large goal is to inform readers of what could happen if terrorism goes unchecked, and what the consequences can be if complacency or apathy take hold.

Meet the Author

My original interest in school was not writing but government studies, although over the course of time, I accumulated an array of written communications coursework en route to an associate degree in criminal justice and a bachelor degree in homeland security. My written experience includes hard news, soft news, feature writing, editorial writing, and college research papers.

I started working in airport security in mid 2002 and stayed on the job for almost seven years doing terminal patrol, and then later airfield security. During this time, I managed the front of the airport terminal, keeping the no parking zone clear, directing traffic, and then later on controlling access to the main terminal on the airfield.

My goal is to continue creative writing and hope readers enjoy the work.
