Jessie is a Hollywood actress that has a lot of talent but isn't fond of the spotlight.. Her past forces her to go into character just to survive the paparazzi on a daily basis. Travis is about as far from the Hollywood type as you can get. Retired from the Army as a combat photographer, he has a small photography business built as he struggles with the demons that come from horrors of war most of us can never imagine.
When the two meet at a photoshoot there are instant sparks but someone is out to kill Jessie and Travis just might be the man to save her.
I loved this book! It is a fast read that pulls you into the characters lives and you find yourself rooting for their romance to work. The topic of PTSD is very relevant as more and more of us deal with soldiers who have seen the worst and survived. Most of all this is a novel of courage. I look forward to her next book.

Freeze Frame drew me in. Exciting, action packed. With so many people suffering with PTSD, these two fall in passionate love and find each other. Maybe that is the best healing anyone can do. You will love this book.

Freeze Frame was hard to put down once I started reading. I'm a sucker for a steamy romance but the mystery aspect just made the book more intriquing. Loved it...Highly recommend!!

I totally loved this book! It made for a wonderful book discussion: drama, suspense, timely topics such as PTSD and Hollywood Starlets. I look for books that will be an escape, but they've got to be clever as well or I just get bored. Duquette is a gifted storyteller and I'm looking forward to her next book!
