I love this book! My MOMS group had a presentation on this book and many of us bought it on the spot. Dinner is much easier (being a mother of 3 active children). The first time you read the book it is a little daunting. Just try it, it isn't as 'big' a job as it appears. My friend and I only did 15 meals the first time. I highly suggest starting off this way.

I was looking for a cookbook for items that froze well...this has too many recipes that call for a basic sauce (recipe included) gussied up. I didn't want recipes for 6 different items using white sauce! And who wants a recipe for frozen fish sticks (I don't - I'll buy 'em!)? The book is informative and I did get some good ideas from it, but honestly, I'll probably end up selling it on ebay. Also - this book is intended for cooking with a 'buddy' on one day (where I'm usually solo!)

The recipes in this book are really good. I have other 'freezer cooking' books, but this one is the BEST! Once-a-month cooking is a tremendous time and money saver. I have a hectic life, with a career, husband, and three kids (7, 15 & 17). Once-a-month cooking allows me to spend more time with my family.

I was so pleased to read the book and realize that the authors were not 'Martha Stewart' wannabe's. They have lives outside of the kitchen just like I do. I figured if they can do it so can I. What a relief to find a way to feed my four children and my husband nutritious home cooking without the nightly panic of what to fix now!

A friend lent me the this book, and I have found it to be easy to follow, with realistic ingredients. The charts are easy to follow, and VERY HELPFUL! The recipes are family friendly;my husband & kids EAT the food-I've got picky eaters. I have decided to buy the book to keep in my kitchen for easy reference. THANK YOU TARA AND NANCI-you have made my life easier (less clean-up, and less time in the kitchen--but more time with my family!!!)
