    Beautiful Sewing Inspiration!

I was so happy to see French General write a sewing book - I knew it would be filled with all of their soft reds and blues. The book is spiral-bound - which allows me to leave it open on my sewing table - so helpful! This an inspirational book as well as an instructional book - I am sure I will continue to refer to it!

a "feel good" idea book, if there is such a thing! :o)

Fun to flip through, full of great color choices and fun projects that aren't too difficult. Full of inspiration! And everyone who comes over (and has an interest in crafting) picks it up and spends a good 15 minutes flipping through it.
COuld be a little clearer on the "how to" side of things, but not hard to figure out.
    Would certainly buy it again.

Lots of projects, loads of details

Very well organized. Great as a starting point to decorate a bedroom especially. All the patterns and instructions were very clear.

    Amazing Book!

This book is absolutely fabulous!I got it as a very early beginner sewer and was able to make several projects. The layout, photos, and autobiographical information are all beautiful and instpirational for the crafter. The only thing that could take a tweeking would be the visual instructions. The directions for putting the pattern together are drawn, and it may have been more helpful to have pictures.

Nice Beginning or Addition to Fabric Crafting

Sweet addition or start for home fabric crafting. It is simple, clear and easy to follow the directions for the designs and patterns included in this book. It also provides a nice spring board for coming up with one's own designs, patterns and structural forms for home and gifts. I love the bound format of this volume which makes it easy to use in actual sewing and crafting time at home or even for pieces one can work on while traveling. Love the format of the book too. The way it is laid out visually and verbally is so sweet, attractive and enhances the ease in comprehension, therein, use. It could definitely include, or utilize a website link to provide the purchaser, with more designs and patterns for the price of this volume though.
