French Polished Murder is the 2nd book in the Daring Finds series by Elise Hyatt. A book that like it's predecessor I thoroughly enjoyed. You cannot help but giggle at some of hi jinks the characters get up to. The series is about Candyce 'Dyce' Dare. A divorced single mom of a precocious, intelligent toddler who drives his mom a little nuts on occasion. Dyce's bonehead of an ex doesn't make the child support payments so she's fallen back on a hobby to make ends meat. Digging out of trash piles and restoring and refinishing..pieces of discarded solid wood furniture. in the midst of working on and searching for these discards she happens upon bodies, old letters and secrets better left buried...or at least the murderers and others involved tend to think so. Unfortunately for them..Dyce tends to have this 'itch' to solve them. I'm looking forward to more from this lady because the stories are fun, entertaining and the antics of Dyce and her child send me into gales of laughter. And in the world as it stands today..can't we all do with some laughter in our lives?

After fifty pages,I gave up trying to find something worth reading.A Mother that justs calls her child E,than moves nasty rats in the house to live around her child,no way, nothing but feeding rats a stray cat,and a book about gays.
