The only book you need on French wine

What a terrific book! Despite its compact size, it seems to cover everything you need to know on French regions from the most obscure to the most famous, and it offers good advice on the best producers and vintages. We took it with us on a recent trip and found it absolutely invaluable

    Outstanding book!

This book is one of the most comprehensive yet consise books on french wine that I've had the pleasure to read. The author gives mention to almost every wine and region imaginable within france, without attempting to sway the reader with his own bias towards any particular region. Although he is open in his love for burgandy wines, he treats all styles and regions with equal enthusiasm, including the smallest and most obscure.
