The tension increases, however, because the two boys are African-Americans now compelled to adapt to a white suburban world. Superbly illustrated, The Boondocks has stirred controversy, attracted widespread media coverage, and won readers who've applauded McGruder's unapologetic and humorous approach to race. In this second collection of Boondocks cartoons, readers can get another look at this innovative strip.

The #1 Comic in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Boondocks is the first comic I look for every time my parents bring home the newspaper! No other comic can even come close to the Boondocks, Aaron McGruder does the best in both the art and the comedy moments!!! This comic is one of the things to live for! Hail to The Boondocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changing America one comic strip at a time.

This strip is the best to have ever been created. The style is different and it really makes you look at the world in a whole new light. I applaud the creater for having such a daring mind, and sense of humor at the same time.

    BOONDOCKS ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!

Aaron McGruder is a genius! The Boondocks is so funny, I haven't read quality comic material like this since 'Calvin and Hobbes'! This is perhaps one of the best political satires ever. Go buy the two books that are out in stores, and then wait for the third book (SEPT. 23RD!!!), cause I bet it'll be even funnier!

    Absolutely loved this book

McGruder has a great sense of humor, and in my humble opinion has the best strip in print today.
