Wild Irish, Book Five

Friday's child is loving and giving...

Ewan Collins has had the hots for Natalie for years but she continually rebuffs him, supposedly because of their age difference. When Natalie comes to stay with the Collins family for a week, Ewan decides it's time to make his move in a serious way.

Natalie's been in a funk since celebrating another birthday alone. When Ewan proposes to help her "get a life"-seven lessons in seven days-she figures, what the hell does she have to lose? Ewan's plans include tequila shots, fishing, karaoke...and other, more erotic hands-on demonstrations.

But Nat's loneliness isn't Ewan's only obstacle. Tragedy in her past continually takes Natalie to a dark place her mind can't easily overcome. With support, tenderness and love, Ewan plans to win over Natalie one lesson at a time.

Starting with lessons of the heart.

Editorial Reviews

Night Owl Reviews - From Terri
I can’t express how much I recommend this book and this series. From sweet love to sly humor to playful interaction to just plan enjoyable reading, this book has it all. I’m going to hate when all the Collins get their happily ever after but I also can’t wait until the next book!
HEA Reviews - From Drew
I very much enjoyed this book and I will always remember this one because I was swept up in all the emotions. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who wants to know how to live again.
Romance Readers Connection - Jeri Neal
This is a delightful and delicious continuation of the various stories about these siblings. This novel is filled with passion and exploration as Ewan takes the seven days of her visit to convince Natalie to experiment and try some new life experiences.
The Book Binge - From Judith
Carr has continued to exhibit such inventive ways so the characters literally "jump" off the page, and her creativity in developing the plot and story line are obvious. This is truly, truly a love story.
Blackraven's Reviews - From Kathy
Friday I’m in Love is as much fun as the other books in the Wild Irish series, but Ms. Carr kicks it up a notch by delving into deeper emotional waters. Natalie is a complex character battling dark emotions, and Ewan’s outgoing and laid back personality perfectly complements Natalie’s more serious nature.

My Review: Talk about a couple who are a fabulous match...Ewan & Natalie are perfect for each other. She's moody and b**chy and really doesn't like people all that much, but he is perfect for her because he is the complete opposite and helps to temper her bad humor. Ewan is such an honestly nice, friendly, happy guy... it's hard for Natalie to stay in a bad mood when she is around him. Add to that, he is really intuitive to Natalie's moods and just knows when she needs a distraction. It makes for a really sweet story. Natalie has been in a funk lately. She's a professional photographer and has recently come to the realization that she photographs other's awesome events in their lives, but that her own life is severely lacking in photo-worthy events. She tells Ewan this and he comes up with a 7-day plan for Natalie to find life in her world. The lessons range from fishing to partying to waiting tables, but what they do is take Natalie's focus off of herself so that she can see the amazing world that is happening around her and to become a part of that world. I really had fun reading about her life lessons and loved that Ewan took photos of them all so that she had it all documented. When the realization comes to her of the scope of what it is that he's done and accomplished...*sigh*...it's so gorgeous! Only 2 more books to go in this series....I am going to be sad when it's over.

Ewan Collins has had the hots for Natalie Miller for about three years now. They have a push pull relationship. She loves keeping him at a distance, supposedly because she's older than him. The reality is she enjoys it and is afraid of letting Ewan get too close. Now she's stuck with him for a week while she works on getting candid pictures to put together for Sky Mitchell as a wedding present for his upcoming nuptials to Teagan Collins. She's hanging around the whole family, who she has always enjoyed being around. Ewan has decided he's going to use this time to teach Natalie 7 life lessons. She agrees to it because she realizes she comes off a little too harsh in most situations. There were so many laugh out loud moments in this books. I really loved it, and this whole family.

## I can't really recommend this book. I loved all of this series except for book#1 and this one, book#5. In book #1, I hated the hero Will. In this book I hated the heroine Nat. She was a witch personified. Of course she has her reasons, but that doesn't explain how this amazingly nice guy fell for her after being treated so poorly by her for 3 years. Nah, stick with Riley's or Sean's story.
