    It was a good childrens book.

    I babysit a lot so when i bring my nook im always looking for cute kids books. This ine is always a pleaser! Great book for little boys!

    Good for reading outloud...

    My son is 19 months old and loves reading Cars book on our nook before nap and bed time. He uses it as his security blanket. We enjoy the books that read on auto play, but if you have a child that has speech delay like ours does, this book will encourage the parent to read to the child so he/she can learn voice fluctuation and hear a familiar voice. Good storyline as well as illustrations.

    Not a good cars book

    My nephew loves Cars and Mater and to have them get in trouble for the best scene in the movie is silly. The book is the worst bits of everyone and after the movie they would be passed all this... The book could have been so much better. I wont be reading it to my nephew.

    frustrating story

    My 4-year-old and I love to read Nook books. He snuggles with me while we read several books in a row, as long as one of those is not Cars: Friday Night Fun.

    In this book Lightning McQueen and Mater repeatedly break rules, act like hooligans, and just as often are reprimanded by Doc Hudson, Sally, etc. The story is frustrating and tiresome. Who wants to see a couple of youngsters ruining their lives? My son and I couldn't even make it through one reading of the story. It was too annoying.

    I would have rated the story alone 1 star, but because of the Disney-quality art gave it 2 stars.
