In FRIEND ME, Lucy, Izzie, and Nesta's adventures are both hilarious and heartbreaking. From cover to cover, I found myself laughing, crying, and smiling with the three girls as they battle relateable struggles in high school. The British point-of-view of the book is original and fresh, and really adds to the story. The trio's ups and downs are completely entertaining, and I really couldn't put the book down until I was finished. I really enjoyed the fact that FRIEND ME contained three books in one: MATES, DATES, AND INFLATABLE BRAS - MATES, DATES, AND COSMIC KISSES - and MATES, DATES, AND DESIGNER DIVAS. I wouldn't have been able to wait until each one was released to find out what happens next! Cathy Hopkins succeeds with this novel that sparkles with both humor and heartache.

The characters in this book are Lucy Lovering, Izzie Foster, and Nesta Williams. Lucy is a very nice, funny, and generous. Izzie is a good, loveable, and smart friend. Nesta is a beautiful, amazing, and talkative person. A few events that happened in this book are 1. Lucy feels left out after Nesta befriends Izzie. 2. Izzie goes organic and her mom does not support her. 3. Nesta’s mom possibly will lose her job and she has to try to keep up with her rich boyfriends spending. The setting in this book is at North London in Modern time because of malls, big varieties of organic food, and cell phones. The main conflict in this book is when Nesta moves to North London and becomes friends with Izzie making Lucy feel left out. I give this book a complete 5 star! It is funny, interesting, and you can really relate to it. It tells about how friendship and that even though it goes through tough times. I recommend this book to anyone who likes funny, interesting, and girl books.

This was an amazing book. Any one who is thinking about buying it is very much worth it. I read the first book in less than three days. You can't put them down once you pick them up. Enjoy your reading! :)

    Too many mistakes

I couldn't enjoy the book because there was like a mistake on every page. It was too annoying to handle.

    Great summertime read

I borrowed this book from my local library and I brought it on my cruise. It was a perfect summer book and through my vacation I was dying to read it. Poolside or at dinner, this book was always in my hands. There was one problem though... I finished the book in three days (My cruise was nine days) so I didnt have the next three books (Besties) to read!

    Editor?

Was there even an editor when this book was published? I counted over 20 errors! Missing quotations, punctuation, etc, etc. Sloppily written and not a very well-thought-out plot. It's a great deal for three books, but will you make it through the Sea of Sentence Mishaps? (I didn't!)
