    Must Have For All Girls!!!

    This is a great book to help girls understand friendships. I'm using it with my second year Brownie Girl Scout Troop. We're also using the American Girl Standing Up for Yourself and Others Journal to earn our People Are Talking Try-it. We're having a big focus on bullying this year. I also recommend it to use with your daughters one on one.

    My daughters love the entire series of books!

    I have two daughters (8, 10) who received this book and several others from American Girls as gifts from me. I was nervous that they wouldn't like them, or look at me like I am completely crazy. Surprisingly, both girls absolutely love the books. My 10 yr old has been dealing with what I consider to be ridiculous drama at school with her group of friends. I did not have the same experience when I was in elementary school, so it has been difficult for me to relate to this issue. American Girls to the rescue!

    The advice given in these books are appropriate for their age range - presented in a way that doesn't seem like a lecture. Several times recently my daughter has had a question about how to handle a situation, and before I can make a suggestion, she's looking it up in her American Girls library. I am grateful for the entire series! I recommend these books as gifts, starting with girls as young as 8 so there is time to learn about how to handle situations before getting in to them. The books make great gifts, and are wonderful to use as conversation starters with your child.

    Helping girls with friendships

    A nice little book to suppliment what we tell our daughters, but they sometimes hear it better from a book.
