Jillian Grayson is a disillusioned divorcée and best-selling romance novelist who suddenly can't write a chapter without her hunky male heartthrob suffering ED, an STD, or even worse. Brian Nash is a tennis-obsessed college senior who's unlucky in love and the roommate and best friend of Jillian's son, Rob. When Rob brings Brian home for Spring Break, and Brian meets the surprisingly young and tennis passionate Jillian, their shared interest quickly develops into an intense mutual attraction. After nearly giving in to their feelings, they hatch a plan, while under the influence (of something more than just the perfect Miami night), to be Friends With Partial Benefits, complete with rules to define the boundaries. Will the lonely pair continue with this distinctive relationship, actually explore their desires, or discover all of it is a really bad idea?

NOTE: This book contains explicit language, sexual content, slightly inappropriate humor and is recommended for mature audiences who like that sorta thing. This book is also a less explicit version of Ian Dalton's novel Inappropriate Thoughts.

Meet the Author

Luke Young is the Kindle-bestselling author of the Friends With...Benefits series as well as the novel Shrinkage.

Young's Friends With...Benefits novels are filled with passion, longing, comedy, and, yes, sex. His relationship comedies feature strong, sexy female characters -- women who seize every opportunity for fun and don't let a little thing like age stand in the way of love or desire. In each book Young sets different wheels in motion, applying his comedic touch and pitch-perfect ear for playful couples' banter. The result is warm, funny, sexy storytelling at its best.

Young got his start writing screenplays, which earned the praise of contest judges while never quite making it to the "green light." He adapted his second screenplay into a novel and found himself hooked on the new form. Since then, he's released five novels, one novella, and one short story.

Young's prolific nature is a gift to fans across the globe who have enthusiastically embraced the Friends With...Benefits series. This fan support has driven the books up the Kindle bestseller lists. If you enjoy romance, sex, and unexpected hilarity, you will love Young's books.

You can find Luke at www.lukeyoungbooks.com or write to him directly at lukebyoung@gmail.com.

Young also writes "spicier" books under the pen name Ian Dalton. If you like your sexy comedy heavy on the sexy, be sure to check out Dalton's Victoria Wilde series. Cute but not great

A little immature story line. Nothing wrong with the older woman younger man. But he was a little immature for his age, pining over a joung girl. Just not written well enough to make me want to read the series.

I'll tell you what erotic novel refers to male parts as "it" one that's mistakenly labeled an erotic novel when it's contemporary romance and one that's trying to be funny. You can't use the same word for that over and over again. This books is laugh out loud funny and a great first book in an amazingly fresh and unique series.

    Very stimulating

This was surprisingly a very good read from a male author. Usually when I read these types of books they are written by woman.

    Definitely get this book

This book is so funny...one character is a romance novelist creating the opportunityfor these ridiculously overdone excerpts in true bodice ripper style. Great writing and I haven't laughed this hard in years.

In the words of Johnny Mac, "You cannot be serious." I cannot believe there are people that actually like this book. The first 5-10 pages were not bad, funny even, but the rest of the book was embarrassingly bad. It was extremely sophomoric, the sex - what there was - was absolutely un-erotic and boring. Clearly not written by a female. The characters were one-dimensional, unbelievable, and uninteresting. And hey, I love tennis, but a) this was not the place for long, drawn-out descriptions of tennis matches, and b) they were very non-compelling.

    Fun book!

This was a sexy read, and I loved that the author didn't take things too seriously. I was expecting something a little more raunchy and was pleasantly surprised to find a strong plot line with relate-able and 3 dimensional characters. The main characters really tried to do what was "right," not just take the easy way. I was surprised by many of their choices and by certain revelations and this served to strengthen the believability of the characters and of the story. I really enjoyed the writing style and will be sure to read more by Luke Young. I highly recommend this book!

    Could have been great....but wasn't

This book had 5 star potential but got bogged down with too many unnecessary tennis details and unbelievable characters. Liked the main chatactets. Found victoria and natalie a waste of print.

    Fun and adorable :-)

Some of the dialog is a little course (not cussing just rough around the edges) but overall a great story

    Good read...

I enjoyed this first book into this series, but not as much as the prequel where Jillian and Victoria first meet. Of course in this book they are best friends, we get to introduced to Jillian's son, Rob and her new love interest, his best friend Brian. Thank goodness George is out of the picture...

Unfortunately this story kind of dragged during some parts, could be because I'm not a tennis fan, therefore all of the tennis jargon, which went on for pages/chapters, was boring for me and I found myself skipping through most those scenes. Fortunately Victoria is still up to her old tricks which gives the book plenty of humor, though at times her behavior was quite frankly just too damn brazen...lol.

Overall it was a nice introduction to this series...

FYI: This book ends on a slight cliffhanger, bare in mind this series focuses on Jillian and Victoria so I think all of the books will always end where the next one will pick up...be prepared!
