Meet the Author

Stephanie A. Mayberry is a Christian freelance writer and author of several faith-centered books including, Fringe: My Life as a Spirit-Filled Christian with Asperger's Syndrome, The Christian Aspie: Notes from the Blog, 7 Steps to a Godly Marriage and 101 Simple ways to Minister to Others.

She is active in the Asperger's ("Aspie") community, reaching out to fellow Aspies, families, friends and churches to encourage, educate and assist in bridging the gap that autism can cause in a person's walk with Christ. As a Christian with Asperger's Syndrome, Stephanie has spoken before groups about autism and faith, ministering to the spectrum and how God has broken through the barriers of her own autism, allowing her to walk in "both worlds," sharing insight into the Aspie mind as well as helping Aspies strengthen their walk with Christ.

She lives in Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband.

This book surprised me because I always thought that since I have asperger's I could never have the type of experience with God that this author describes. This is her story, not mine, but there were a lot of things that were similar to what I experience. It did help me to get closer to God and understand so many things that have been a mystery for so long.
