Overview

In the dark and comedic suspense tale From Afar, novelist Michael R. Crider delves into the mind of a serial stalker. Following the death of his girlfriend on New Year's Eve, David is despondent. His friends have hassled him for months to start dating again, a task David finds unthinkable. He can not fathom finding love again — until he meets Laura. David's attraction to the dark-haired beauty is not enough to overcome his timidity, which ultimately leaves him unable to approach her. David's small crush soon turns to obsession as he begins stalking Laura, watching her every move from afar. In his heart, David truly believes that Laura will soon belong to him; and may God help anyone who gets in his way.

As a fanatical mystery reader, this book really caught my attention. I hadn't heard of Michael R. Crider before a friend recommended this title to me. Suspenseful and funny as any of today's top writers. Crider's humor glosses over bitter undercurrents with urbane gaiety and wit. A clever wordsmith, Crider weaves a wonderfully mysterious story with black humor and makes Ffrom Afar a book that you will want to read in one setting.

Author Michael R. Crider's first attempt at fictional writing was nothing short of genius. The manner in which the book was written is how every day people would speak. The way he molds and ties his characters together was fabulos. I look forward to any future writings of this up and coming author.
